it is a great pleasure and honor for me to announce the availability of Tom's Snack Bar version 5.0 today. Your task in the game is to manage a snack bar. My special thanks goes to the legendary Achim Kern. Without his help the project would not have been happened.


Buy cheaply and sell as expensively as possible. But don't overdo it. Otherwise, you won't sell anything at all. The weather, the day of the week, and special offers will help you. The game was already a minor legend on the C64. Now it's being revived for you. You have two weeks to succeed. This makes the game a light, easily digestible casual snack.

The game has come a long way. It was developed in 1984 by Oliver Schwald on the Commodore 64. Thomas Bauer followed suit, releasing various versions on different platforms. The game then went to Achim Kern (KeHo Software). Achim created an assembly version for the Amiga 500. The Hollywood adaptation followed in 2019. This made it possible to release the game on MacOS X/64.

That same year, I received the sources from Achim Kern. I created a version for Amiga OS 4.x, which is still hosted at KeHo Soft. Now it's 2025, and I've finally finished the Android port. Now, after 40 years of service, we present the Android version.
