Home security/automation

Does anyone know of any Hollywood program(s) that use the Raspberry Pi, or other ARM boards to perform home security, or home automation tasks?
I would love to use my Raspberry Pi 2B to run a home security system when I am away from home. One that could turn on and off 2 or more Internet enable cameras would be great.
If no one else has started work on such a Hollywood program, I guess I will just have to figure it out myself, but such a program is sort of intimidating as a first Hollywood project.
