Not likely to come unless someone comes forward with some very good reasons
FWIW we already have
SetRTS() and
GetRTS()...

ok RTS is typo is DSR
RTS is half the CTS/RTS acknowledge
i.e pc sets RTS, and when modem is ready sets RTS so you need to get this value
actually CTS/DSR/RI/DCD are the four "IN" lines so no of the "IN" exists
