A small suggestion:
If a pageview is set to mode="none", I would suggest to set the default value for PlainBG to "true". Like this, the look on AmigaOS matches the look on the other platforms (tested on Windows and macOS), because this also omits the border, that is not present on Windows/macOS, if mode is set to "none".
