I've taken a couple of days away from coding Jack to bring you HAT... the Hollywood Application Template.

As Hollywood currently doesn't have any kind of GUI support for the end-developer ( no Re-action! ) it is down to every HW developer to hand-code their own GUI objects. Well I've done a lot of the work already for you!

So download HW_Application_Template.lha from OS4Depot today.

* Create Toolbars
* Create Buttons
* Create TextFields
* Localisation support
* .. and more.

Well, as I appreciate your work, we already have ScuiLib, which works very well (on all platforms). Are there any advantages in your approach?

Nevertheless, I try to have a look at it soon if time permits.

Never heard of ScuiLib, I'll take a look at it.

Download links on that forum no longer work, searching here on this forum Allanon said he has discontinued SCUILib. Cannot be found on OS4Depot either.

I and Clyde have setup a repository where I'll continue to update ScuiLib and the new revisited version called HGui, the project address is:

ScuiLib will not be developed anymore, only bug fixing will be done just because I've started a new project from scratch called HGui.
The new HGui library will be faster (because it uses a nice caching system for all gui graphics), supports a more flexible way to skin the gui, it's easier to use and I'm planning to make it more modern giving the possibility to define the gui of your apps using xml files.
Now there is full use of OOP dealing with objects and no more ids.

I have few free time right now but I'm trying to start documenting the things I've done, if you want to have a look feel free to checkout the repo
I'm determinated to continue this project because Hollywood needs a Gui library fully accessible for every platfom it supports.
