animated sprite of 400 frames or quicktime rgbA movie ?

hi all !
i'm going to script soon a musik pack from a cool member of our demo team
as on pouet.net they said his sound is crystal, i do make a crystal colors
and gfx identity about it
as this i am cgi making a 400 frames animation about a crystal low poly
turning on him, with rotations and so
his x and x sizes are 300 wide by 600 tall
can you advice me about preference for video plugin (quicktime codec animation
with alpha chan) or anime sprite 400 frames ?
