I encountered error during updating Windows Hollywood 5.0 to 5.2.

I didnt pay enough attention as to what that error was, but i suppose it was caused by having Hollywood5.0 open while installing update 5.2.

When I tried to run 5.2 update again, it said i already had 5.2 installed, hence i went to install 5.3. But 5.3s installer says I am using unsupported version of 5.2 and tells me to install it again.

When i start my Hollywood, it reads 5.0.


Question is, do i have to remove Hollywood installation and reinstall hollywood 5.0 from beginning, or is there way to either get it to run Hollywood5.2 update installation again, or downgrade it back to 5.0?

Yes, you have to uninstall Hollywood and then do a clean reinstall.

Wow, had i realised how easy and fast all this would be, i wouldnt have even bothered posting.

uninstalling Hollywood (simply using start menus Holywood/uninstall), installing Hollywood 5.0, and updates 5.2 and 5.3 took maybe total of 3 minutes when i had all those setup files already in my harddisk.
